SHALOM'S 5TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

27th Oct 2008

Deepavaliis a colorful festival that is celebrated by all Hindus worldwide which is also known as the festival of lights. This festival usually falls around late October and November. One important practice that the Hindus follow during the festival is to light oil lamps in their homes on Deepavali morning. By lighting the oil lamps, the Hindus are thanking the gods for the happiness, knowledge, peace and wealth that they have received. The Hindus consider Deepavali as one of the most important festivals to celebrate.

27th October is a Deepavali public holiday in Malaysia as the Hindus are celebrating this special festival.Since we are living in this multi-racial country,we celebrate together as well.
In conjunction of the holiday,Shalom's mummy invited us to her potluck picnic at the park. Shalom turn 5 this year and she is so lucky to have mummy to celebrate her birthday every year. There was more than 20 dogs came to her party. It was food, fun & joy for all of us.
