Walk For Harmony

On this special day,we took part for the event organized by The Furry Friend Farm,a charity organization which protect the animal rights and think dogs deserve better life.
We was very honored to be invited to join the event,we was very excited and we actually became very tied before the walk.

We would likes to share this exciting news with all of you.
We was interviewed by a local Chinese news company Sin Chew Jit Poh last week and we appeared in the news.The half page news was written about our family,life and our breed.
My daddy and mummy was very proud of us during the interview, but I did not pay much attention as I was busy sniffing around and marking in the beautiful playground.

自三個不同國家的“一家人”你有看過嗎？各有擁有不同文化背景、不同語言的“一家人”又是如何溝通呢？

Roｃky（客服人員）是道地的馬來西亞人，緣份讓他認識了來自日本的聖美（Kiyomi），兩人結婚之後便在大馬定居。

基於語言障礙的關係，剛剛定居大馬的太太聖美認識的朋友不多，為了讓太太有個伴，於是他們便飼養了北京犬Taro（長子的意思），自此後一家變成了由大馬、日本、中國所組成的小小的聯合國。

“我和太太都很喜歡長毛的狗，加上北京犬的外形以及個性都較適合在公寓內飼養，想不到這一養便不能自拔。”

他指出，根據歷史記載，北京犬在清朝時代便深獲慈禧太後的喜愛，它們也是中國歷代皇宮裡飼養的寵物，所以個性相當傲慢。

“其實它們的個性和一般狗比較不同，反而和貓非常相似，都是非常優雅、驕傲、嬌縱。”

他透露，Taro養了9年後老死而離開了他們，因此他們在4年前和2年前，前後又飼養了Jiro（次郎；日文意即排行第二個孩子的意思）和Ayako（彩子）。

一家四口浩浩蕩蕩出遊

夫妻倆人完全把兩隻北京狗，當成心肝寶貝來疼愛，連出國也要“舉家出遊”。

每次出門旅遊前，他們會特別上網搜索能攜帶寵物一同入住的酒店以及旅遊地點，然後一家四口“浩浩蕩蕩”享受他們假期。

“因為我大部份時間都要工作，能和他們相處的時間不多，所以即使酒店的收費比一般來的貴些，我都覺得無所謂，更何況我們每次都是一群愛狗的朋友一起去，感覺很好。”

每當主人工作返家時，不管多夜，Jiro和Ayako都會陪著男主人吃飯、看戲、工作至夜深，有時候還會露出一臉疲憊愛睡的樣子，結果不忍心看著兩個寶貝挨苦的主人被迫提早結束工作上床睡覺。

由於男女主人平常都以日文溝通，加上男主人上班時都由女主人負責照顧兩隻北京犬，因此兩隻北京犬在長時間的訓練下，也會聽幾句簡單日文指令，比如Oide（過來）、Tabete（吃）、Dame（不可以）等。

英文名：PEKINGESE
性格特徵：適合與小孩做伴，適合城市飼養，需要經常梳理被毛，不容易訓練，容易與別的犬相處。
產地血統：根據中國清朝慈禧太後制定的條律，北京犬的腿短而彎曲，因此不會走遠，頸部的叢毛使它們顯得很高貴，而且有選擇性地品嚐花蕾使它們看起來很文雅。但慈禧沒有提及這種犬的一些突出特性，諸如像螺一樣的倔強、傲慢。中國人傳說北京犬是獅子和猴子的結合體，同時具備了獅子的高貴和猴子的優雅——這是恰當的描述。

體型體重：
身高：15厘米~23厘米
體重：3公斤至6公斤
壽命：12至13年
毛色特徵：多種顏色或任何顏色。
優缺點點評：對主人和家庭滿懷摯愛，易患上呼吸系統的疾病、中暑或眼疾。

KL Tower - SPCA World Animal Day !

2nd November 2008..33 degree celcius..super hot day

Another big event organized by SPCA yet! Thanks to the good folks at KL Tower, They are launching our Animals Matter To Me campaign at this event - while celebrating World Animal Day, KL Tower's 11th Anniversary and SPCA's 50th Anniversary!
The event was held outdoor and under the hot sun,obviously I don't enjoy it as the sun was killing us, no air conditioning, no fan or breeze was blowing.
But anyway, I think it is a good start that and we "the doggies" are well accepted and for the first time to allowed us to walk on the walk path and on the green of KL Tower area and have the chance to see the real KL Tower...My only complaint is why the event launched at 12 noon..when it is super hot ? Are they trying to kill us indirectly ?
Hope they will have the event at night in future as I heard the MAYOR said it will be an annual event for KL Tower to welcome us..

Malaysia Responsible Dog Onwnership Day 2008

This event is organized by puppy.com,and it has been an annual event since 2005,event before I was born. This event is specially held to bring awareness to the human to take good care of us....the furkids.Being responsible to give us good food,good home,love and everything we need.
was the event photographer,he did not have time for us as he was busy taking pictures for other dogs.
According to PAPA,all the committee member for this event did not bring their own dog to the event because they need to make sure those who came to the event must have enjoyable time,so we have to sacrifice to be left at home.

But my mummy still bring me to the event for just a short while because she have difficulties to handle me and AYAKO at the same time,because AYAKO is very hyperactive when ever going to this kind of outing.

Just some pictures to share with you since I was there for less than an hour and mummy rush us home due to the hot sun and worried that we might get heat stroke.

A CHARITY EVENT - TIRATANA FAMILY DAY.

13th Sunday 2008 , HOT SUNNY DAY !

We have the opportunity to take part in the doggies fashion show as me and Ayako cannot do any tricks.

This family day is held annually for charity,fund raising event for the orphan home and old folks home. I shall suggest to the event committee that they should have booth for us next time so that we can raise some $$$$ by letting the children to touch or play with us, one touch ONE DOLLAR, : ) Many urban children have not seen a real dog like us..so many of them "hoo haa" when they saw us. As if they saw a Tiger or Lion,I guess they only see a Dog in their text book or TV only !

The place was rather crowded, it's just like a fun fair. Too bad that it rain heavily the night before and the ground was very wet and dirty,so papa never allowed me to walk and explore the location but only sit on the chair and wait.

As this kind of event will not left out GROVVY, PACCO & the GR named Bank..and others whom I really don't know them. GROVVY did the dancewith his daddy and agility demo for PACCO and other jack russel terrier.

we left the location and the Sun is killing me and papa almost get heat stroke.
